About Parfumour

Who we are

What is Parfumour?

Parfumour is an online perfume shop with its head office in Vilnius, Lithuania. It makes perfume dupes and inspirations: eaux de parfum inspired by well-loved scents and made in the European Union.

Are Parfumour dupes the original designer perfumes?

No. Parfumour dupes are inspired by well-loved scents, but they are not the original fragrances, and no other perfume house makes, sells or endorses them.

What are perfume dupes?

“Dupe” is a word people use for a lower-priced fragrance inspired by a well-known scent. Parfumour dupes are made in the EU with up to 40% perfume oil and described by their notes, so you can choose by smell.

Will a Parfumour dupe smell the same as a perfume I already know?

Not exactly. Each Parfumour dupe is made to its own formula, and every skin wears a scent differently. Read the notes and wear details on each product page. If you are not sure, start with a 50 ml bottle or a set of three 30 ml bottles.

How many perfumes does Parfumour sell?

More than 1,800 perfume dupes and inspirations, in women’s, men’s, unisex, niche and discontinued collections.

Our perfumes

Strength, wear and who they suit

Where are Parfumour perfumes made?

In the European Union. Orders are sent by courier from the EU.

How strong are Parfumour perfumes?

They are eaux de parfum with up to 40% perfume oil. That is a high concentration, so one or two sprays are usually enough.

What is the difference between eau de parfum, eau de toilette and parfum?

The difference is how much perfume oil is in the bottle. An eau de toilette usually has about 5 to 15%, an eau de parfum about 15 to 20%, and a parfum or extrait 20% or more. More oil gives a richer scent that lasts longer. Parfumour eaux de parfum contain up to 40%.

How long do Parfumour perfumes last?

Most last 8 hours or more on skin, and longer on clothing. Light citrus scents fade sooner than amber, woody or vanilla scents. Wear time also depends on your skin.

Can anyone wear any perfume?

Yes. Our women’s and men’s labels are only a guide. The unisex collection groups scents that are made for everyone.

Choosing a scent

Find what you love

How do I find a scent I will like?

Search by a note you love, such as vanilla, oud or rose, or browse by fragrance family. Each product page lists the top, heart and base notes, and the season and moment the scent suits.

What are top, heart and base notes?

They are the three stages of a perfume. Top notes are what you smell first, usually citrus, fruit or herbs, and they fade within about 15 to 30 minutes. Heart notes, often flowers or spices, come next and last a few hours. Base notes, such as woods, amber, musk and vanilla, stay the longest.

What are the main fragrance families?

  • Floral: rose, jasmine, tuberose, peony and other flowers.
  • Fresh and citrus: bergamot, lemon, orange, green and watery notes.
  • Woody: cedar, sandalwood, vetiver and oud.
  • Amber (oriental): warm resins, spices, vanilla and incense.
  • Gourmand: sweet, edible notes such as caramel, coffee and praline.
  • Aromatic: lavender, sage, rosemary and other herbs.
  • Chypre: citrus top notes over oakmoss, patchouli and labdanum.
  • Leather: smoky, dry notes of leather, tobacco and birch.

Can I try several scents before I buy a full bottle?

Yes. On our set page you can choose any three perfumes as 30 ml bottles.

Do you have dupes of discontinued perfumes?

Yes. Our Discontinued Scents collection brings together dupes inspired by perfume styles that are hard to find in shops today, from powdery florals to warm ambers. Each one is described by its notes, so you can choose by smell.

Can I ask for a scent you do not have yet?

Yes. Suggest it or vote for it on our wishlist page. The most requested scents help us choose what to add next.

Returns and refunds

Changed your mind?

Can I return a perfume?

Yes, within 14 days of receiving your order, with no reason needed. The bottle must be unused and still sealed in its original packaging.

Can I return an opened bottle?

Only if it arrived faulty or damaged. For hygiene reasons, opened or used perfume cannot be returned otherwise.

How do I start a return, and when do I get my money back?

Email info@parfumour.com with your order number, and we reply with the return address. You pay return postage unless the item was faulty or wrong. After we receive and check the return, we refund your original payment method within 14 days. See our returns page.

Safety, ingredients and care

Wear it well

Are Parfumour perfumes safe to use?

Our perfumes are made in the EU with ingredients that follow IFRA standards. Like all perfumes, they contain fragrance ingredients that can cause allergies in some people. Check the ingredient list, and test on a small area of skin first if your skin is sensitive.

Where can I see the ingredients and allergens?

The ingredient list, including the allergens that EU rules require, is on the packaging of each bottle. If you have a known allergy, email us before you order and we will send the list.

Are Parfumour perfumes tested on animals?

EU law bans animal testing for cosmetic products and their ingredients. Our perfumes are made in the EU under these rules.

How do I make my perfume last longer?

Spray on warm points such as the wrists, neck and inner elbows, right after a shower on moisturised skin. Do not rub your wrists together, because this breaks down the top notes. A light spray on clothes or hair keeps the scent longer, but test on a hidden area first, as some fabrics can mark.

How should I store my perfume, and how long does it keep?

Keep the bottle closed, in a cool, dark place, away from heat, sunlight and steamy bathrooms. Stored this way, perfume usually keeps for several years. If the colour or smell changes clearly, stop using it.
