Gucci Guilty Black, inspired by Gucci Guilty Black Pour Femme (2013)

Red fruit is the headline here, tart berries lifted by pink pepper. Lilac and violet arrive behind them, giving a cool, slightly powdery floral contrast, while raspberry and peach keep things juicy. Gucci's launch material called it a creamy oriental floral. Patchouli and amber settle underneath, so the fruit never feels thin.

About the original

Gucci released Guilty Black in February 2013 as a darker flanker of Gucci Guilty, with a women's and a men's version launched together. The women's fragrance is credited to Aurélien Guichard in perfume databases. The campaign starred Evan Rachel Wood and Chris Evans and was directed by Frank Miller. The women's Eau de Toilette is no longer listed by major European retailers, which now carry the main Guilty Pour Femme and its newer flankers.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Gucci stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Fans of fruity florals with some depth will get on well with it. It is sweet and fruity at the start, more so than the original Guilty. A few critics found the fruit synthetic, so those who dislike candied berry notes should sample it first.

Guilty Black is fruitier, with red berries, raspberry and peach in front. We also make the original women's Guilty.

Is Gucci Guilty Black discontinued?

It no longer appears in major European retailers' Gucci ranges and is widely reported as discontinued, though some discounters still sell old stock.

Is Gucci Guilty Black coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Gucci that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.

Inside the EU, delivery is free on orders of €49 or more. Below that it is a flat €4.99. Outside the EU, delivery is a flat €4.99 on every order. We send every order in 1 to 2 working days.
