The Story Behind the Scent

Jo Malone built Blackberry & Bay around the memory of picking blackberries, that mix of juicy fruit, green leaves, and slightly tart, sticky fingers. The goal was something fresh and real rather than sweet and perfumey.

That natural, slightly tart character is why it became a modern classic. The blackberry keeps it juicy, the bay leaf adds a green herbal twist, and the woody base grounds it. Our interpretation follows that same fresh, fruity path.
