La Vie Est Belle En Rose arrived in 2019 as a brighter spin on Lancome’s flagship, the fragrance that helped redefine the modern sweet gourmand around iris, patchouli and praline. Perfumers Dominique Ropion and Anne Flipo added red berries and a rounder rose so it wears softer in warm weather.

Our take holds on to the recognisable sweetness of the line but lets the rose and peony carry the heart, so the result feels romantic and easy rather than dense. It is made for everyday wear that still comes across as polished.
