La Vie Est Belle Iris Absolu appeared in 2022 as a more sophisticated flanker, with Dominique Ropion placing iris at the centre and dialling back the gourmand sweetness of the original. The result felt dressier and more understated.

Our take keeps that balance. We let the iris and jasmine lead, with just enough vanilla and tonka underneath to tie it back to the family it comes from, so it reads as elegant rather than candy sweet.

How Our Version Compares to the Original

The original is a designer eau de parfum. We build ours at a higher perfume oil concentration so the powdery iris stays present, while keeping the same refined character.
