The Story Behind the Scent

Guerlain built Shalimar Philtre de Parfum in 2020, composed by Thierry Wasser, as a modern take on the original Shalimar, pairing a bright bergamot opening with an iris and jasmine heart over a warm vanilla, benzoin and tolu balsam base for a fresher, radiant amber oriental.

Our interpretation follows that character, rebuilt at a high perfume oil concentration so it projects well and lasts on skin.
