Emporio Armani built Because It’s You as a portrait of a confident, playful woman. The brief called for something that felt youthful and fun without being childish, a fragrance that could flirt in the daytime and turn a little more sensual at night.

The perfumers landed on a contrast between sharp and soft. Raspberry and pink pepper give a tart, sparkling opening, rose and jasmine bring a romantic middle, and a base of vanilla, patchouli, and musk adds warmth and depth. Our interpretation follows that same journey from bright to cosy.
