Guilty Elixir pour Homme, inspired by Gucci Guilty Elixir de Parfum pour Homme (2023)

Nutmeg and pimento (allspice) give the opening a peppery heat, softened by orange blossom. Orris butter then turns the heart powdery and slightly rooty, with osmanthus adding a fruity floral tone. The base is resinous and sweet: Ambrofix (an ambery woody material), benzoin, vanilla and patchouli.

About the original

Gucci launched Guilty Elixir de Parfum pour Homme in 2023, paired with a women's Elixir de Parfum. Quentin Bisch is credited as perfumer, with Nathalie Cetto named as co-creator in some sources. Gucci billed it as the most concentrated fragrance in the Guilty collection so far, sold as an elixir de parfum in a 60 ml bottle. Some retailers mislabel it as an eau de parfum.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Gucci stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Fans of Guilty pour Homme who want something darker and sweeter are the obvious audience. Sources suggest it for evenings and special occasions. The iris gives it a distinctly powdery texture, and the vanilla and benzoin base is sweet, which may not suit those who like their men's scents dry.

The men's, Guilty Elixir de Parfum pour Homme. The women's Elixir de Parfum launched alongside it is a different scent.

Moderately. Vanilla and benzoin sweeten the base, while nutmeg, pimento and iris keep it spiced and powdery.
