The Story Behind the Scent

The One for men launched in 2008, composed by Olivier Polge, now Chanel’s in-house perfumer, as a warm spicy oriental built around grapefruit, coriander and basil, a cardamom, ginger and orange blossom heart, and a warm tobacco, cedar and amber base for a smooth, elegant masculine character.

Our interpretation follows that character, rebuilt at a high perfume oil concentration so it projects well and lasts on skin.
