Pasha de Cartier appeared in 1992, composed by Jacques Cavallier, the perfumer who would later make his name at Louis Vuitton. The brief was elegance and confidence, and what he produced was one of the most quietly distinctive masculine fougeres of the decade, with mint and lavender carrying the opening and sandalwood and oakmoss anchoring the base.

Our interpretation is built around that original profile, rebuilt at 40 percent perfume oil concentration so the mint lavender opening leads cleanly into the sandalwood oakmoss base and the character of Cavallier’s 1992 original is recognisable from the first spray.
