Crush, inspired by Akro Crush (2025)

Crush is built around the idea of a rose macaron. The first spray pairs toasted almond with the watery sweetness of lychee, which keeps the start crisp. Bulgarian rose then moves to the centre, wrapped in hazelnut and praline so the flower reads as confectionery more than garden. Vanilla carries it to the end, and one retailer notes a faintly powdery finish.

About the original

Akro is an independent London house founded in Ladbroke Grove by Jack Miskelly and Anaïs Cresp, working with perfumer Olivier Cresp, who composed Crush. It launched in 2025 as an extrait de parfum and is sold by the brand in several sizes. Retailers disagree on the gender label: most list it as unisex, at least one as feminine. It has no connection to the Victoria's Secret scent of the same name or to Mancera Instant Crush.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Akro stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Rose lovers who usually find gourmands too heavy are the natural audience, since the sweetness is measured rather than syrupy. The nut and vanilla accents still make it a dessert scent at heart, so a buyer looking for a dewy garden rose will want something greener.
