Mmmm, inspired by Juliette Has a Gun Mmmm... (2016)

Mmmm starts with tart raspberry, closer to fruit candy than fresh berries, lifted by neroli and a leafy touch of geranium. Orange blossom then becomes the main voice, backed by jasmine and tuberose. The brand describes the trail as somewhere between modelling clay and marshmallow, and that soft, nostalgic sweetness sets the tone. Sandalwood and patchouli ground it at the end.

About the original

Released in late 2016, the scent is written by the brand as Mmmm... with an ellipsis, and only one version exists. A CaFleureBon review at the time found a raspberry candy opening that becomes taffy-like and less sugary than the name suggests, and compared it to Dior Hypnotic Poison. The house's own text stresses orange blossom and vanilla, and also mentions iris and caramel, although vanilla is absent from its official note pyramid.

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Juliette Has a Gun stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Fans of marshmallowy, fruit-led florals will feel at home with it. The candied raspberry and the clay-like sweetness are the point of the scent, so anyone who dislikes gourmand perfumes is better off elsewhere.
