Caden

Caden, inspired by Omanluxury Caden (c. 2025)

Caden starts with spice and spirits: saffron, cardamom and a liqueur-like accord, cut with cade, a juniper-wood oil that smells of campfire smoke. Suede and cistus bring a leathery, resinous heart, and coffee adds a roasted bitterness. Benzoin, a balsamic resin, begins to sweeten things, and the base turns almost candied with vanilla, tonka bean and labdanum. Guaiac wood and amberwood keep the smoke present to the end.

About the original

Caden comes from Omanluxury, an independent Omani perfume house with its own factory in Rusayl, and the brand credits Maxime Exler as its perfumer. In October 2025 the brand announced that Caden had been named Niche Fragrance of the Year 2025 at the Beautyworld Middle East Awards. Omanluxury calls it bold and addictive. Its launch year is generally given as 2025.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Omanluxury stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Smoke and sweetness are both turned up here, and at least one review calls it divisive. One review places it in autumn and winter evenings. Cade can read as harsh campfire smoke and the vanilla as sugary, so it is worth sampling first.

Yes. Cade, a smoky juniper-wood oil, sits in the opening, and guaiac wood carries a smoky tone into the base.

Is Caden sweet?

The base is sweet, with vanilla, tonka and benzoin, but coffee and smoke keep it from tasting like dessert.
