Raspberry gives the start a tart, jammy fruit note. Blond tobacco, the lighter and more honeyed side of tobacco leaf, comes up underneath it, and leather adds a smooth, lightly smoky grain. Only those three notes are documented, so the structure is simple: fruit above, tobacco and leather below. Press coverage classed it as a spicy woody fragrance.

About the original

Perfume press reported the scent in August 2018 as the fifth fragrance of Kilian's My Kind of Love collection, sold at Sephora France as an eau de parfum. Other coverage of that line lists only four scents, so its exact place in the collection is not entirely clear. The bottle was designed upside down, with its base serving as the cap. A fragrance database credits Pascal Gaurin as perfumer, a detail we have not seen confirmed elsewhere.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Kilian stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.
