The Story Behind the Scent

Released in 2017 and co-crafted by Honorine Blanc and Annick Menardo, the nose behind Bvlgari Black and Hypnotic Poison, Calvin Klein Obsessed for Women is a modern reinterpretation of the iconic 1985 Obsession, lighter and softer around a white lavender and vanilla.

Our interpretation follows that character. We keep the bergamot, mandarin and white lavender fresh up top, let neroli, elderflower and jasmine carry the middle, and finish on a warm vanilla, amber and musk base.

How Our Version Compares to the Original

The original is a designer release. We build ours at a higher perfume oil concentration so the soft notes last longer, while keeping the same clean character.

We build ours as an eau de parfum with a high perfume oil load, so most people find it projects and lasts as well as, or better than, the original release.
