The Story Behind the Scent

Bond No. 9 released New Haarlem in 2003, crafted by master perfumer Maurice Roucel, and it became one of the most celebrated gourmand fragrances in modern niche perfumery. Built around coffee, lavender, vanilla and tonka bean, it is a tribute to the cultural energy of Harlem and is widely considered one of the best coffee scents ever made.

Roucel, known for distinctive gourmands like Musc Ravageur and Iris Silver Mist, built a coffee accord that feels refined rather than sugary. Our interpretation keeps that legendary coffee and vanilla signature and builds it as a long lasting eau de parfum.
