Cloud Intense, inspired by Ariana Grande Cloud Intense (2021)

Lavender blossom meets pear and bergamot at the top, a slightly herbal start for such a sweet scent. Coconut cream and praline soon fill in the middle, with vanilla orchid smoothing the join. Where Cloud stays sugary, the Intense version turns toward a dry, musky base of cashmeran and ambrox. Cashmeran is a synthetic material with a woody, slightly dusty texture; ambrox gives a salty, ambery glow.

About the original

Ariana Grande released Cloud Intense in September 2021 as a richer take on Cloud (2018). It keeps the same opening and heart but adds cashmeran and ambroxan accords to the base. On the brand's own site it now appears as Cloud 2.0 Intense, with the same notes. One comparative review found it creamier and less sweet than Cloud, and closer to the skin despite the name.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Ariana Grande stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Gourmand fans who find Cloud too loud or too candied are the natural audience. It still smells of coconut and praline, so it is not for anyone avoiding edible notes, but the woody amber base gives it a more grown-up finish.

As far as the published notes show, yes. The 2021 Cloud Intense launch and the brand's current Cloud 2.0 Intense page list the same composition.

How does it differ from the original Cloud?

It shares Cloud's lavender, pear, coconut and praline structure, plus cashmeran and ambrox in the base. That makes it drier and woodier.
