Acqua Fan Di Fendi, inspired by Fendi Fan di Fendi pour Homme Acqua (2013)

Acqua opens with a salty, airy sea accord brightened by bergamot and Italian lemon, and lavender gives it a clean, barbershop edge from the start. In the middle, pink pepper and cardamom add a cool spice, while basil and sage bring an aromatic, leafy bite. It dries down to a light, supple leather over cedar and musk, which gives the fresh opening something to land on.

About the original

Fendi released Acqua in summer 2013 as a summer flanker of Fan di Fendi pour Homme (2012). François Demachy, Delphine Lebeau and Benoist Lapouza are credited as its perfumers. The women's Fan di Fendi flankers, such as Fan di Fendi Eau Fraiche, are separate scents. When Fendi relaunched its fragrances in 2024 with a new collection, Fan di Fendi was not part of it, and Acqua no longer appears on fendi.com.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Fendi stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Hot weather is its natural setting, as the summer launch suggests. The leather and herbs give it more character than a simple marine. Lavender and sea notes still lead, so it will not win over a man who avoids marine scents.

Is Fan di Fendi pour Homme Acqua discontinued?

It no longer appears in Fendi's fragrance range, which since 2024 consists of a new collection without Fan di Fendi. Reports point to its withdrawal, though no official date is known.

Is this the men's or the women's Fan di Fendi?

The men's: Fan di Fendi pour Homme Acqua, the 2013 summer flanker. It is not the women's Fan di Fendi Eau Fraiche.

Is it purely aquatic?

No. The marine opening gives way to basil, sage and spices, and the base has a light leather note.

Is Acqua Fan Di Fendi coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Fendi that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.
