Hugo Boss Woman, inspired by Boss Woman (2000)

Citrus fruit dominates the start, with orange and mandarin joined by kumquat, a small citrus with a tart, peel-heavy bite. Passionflower brings a fruity floral heart. Cananga, a close relative of ylang-ylang, adds a rich, faintly spicy tone alongside freesia. Underneath, sandalwood and cedar give structure, with vanilla smoothing the edges rather than sweetening the whole.

About the original

Hugo Boss launched Boss Woman as an eau de parfum in September 2000, and it is often sold as Hugo Boss Woman. The perfumer is usually credited as Sophie Labbé. It is a different fragrance from Hugo Woman (1997, reworked in 2015), which belongs to the separate HUGO line. Boss Woman no longer appears on the brand's UK and US women's fragrance pages, and some EU retailers show it out of stock or order-only.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Hugo Boss stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

It no longer appears on Hugo Boss's official UK and US women's fragrance pages, and remaining stock appears limited. We have found no announcement from the brand.

Is Hugo Boss Woman coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Hugo Boss that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.
