Woman Extreme, inspired by Hugo Boss Hugo Woman Extreme (2016)

Blackberry gives the opening a tart, dark-fruit edge, while a grass accord keeps it green and crisp. In the heart, jasmine meets black tea, and the tea gives the whole scent a cool, iced-tea feel. Osmanthus, which smells of apricot, lends the base more depth than the fresher top suggests.

About the original

Hugo Woman Extreme arrived in 2016 as an intensified flanker of the 2015 Hugo Woman, launched alongside Hugo Extreme for men, with Freja Beha Erichsen in the campaign. Sources disagree on who composed it. In the UK it is often sold as Hugo Boss Woman Extreme, but it belongs to the HUGO line and is unrelated to Boss Woman (2000).

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Hugo Boss stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Spring and summer days suit it, along with casual wear. It is a pleasant, fresh fruity floral rather than a statement perfume, so anyone after richness or heavy sweetness may find it too polite.

No. Hugo Woman Extreme is a flanker of Hugo Woman in the HUGO line. Boss Woman (2000) is a different citrus-fruit floral, which we also make.

How does it differ from Hugo Woman?

The original Hugo Woman Extreme, an eau de parfum, is an intensified version of the 2015 Hugo Woman, keeping its blackberry and tea profile with osmanthus in the base.

Yes. Black tea sits in the heart next to jasmine, giving it an iced-tea feel.
