Bombshell Forever, inspired by Victoria's Secret Bombshell Forever (2013)

Boysenberry, a dark berry related to the blackberry, gives the opening a tart, purple-fruit snap. Lavender follows, and its herbal, slightly camphorous tone keeps the fruit from turning sugary. Underneath sits a woody accord built around pamplewood, a material with a grapefruit-peel and timber character. Reviewers find it fresher and less piercing than the original Bombshell.

About the original

Bombshell Forever came out in 2013 as a flanker of Bombshell, sold as an eau de parfum alongside a body mist and lotion. It is a distinct composition, not a reworking of the original. The Bombshell line on the brand's US site now includes Seduction, Desire, Bronze, Intense, Passion and Nights, but not Forever, so it is no longer part of the range.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Victoria's Secret stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Fans of the Bombshell line wanting something less candied are its natural audience. Some wearers read the lavender as slightly masculine, which is either the appeal or the drawback depending on taste. Reviewers find it fresher than the original Bombshell.
