Mania, inspired by Armani Mania for women (2004)

It opens on green mandarin, orange and bay leaf, with pink pepper and blackcurrant adding a small, dry sparkle. The heart is pale and smooth: magnolia, peony, iris and lily of the valley, none of them loud. Virginia cedar and white sandalwood lead the base, with musk and amber, and vanilla softens the edges into something creamy and comforting.

About the original

Giorgio Armani launched the women's Armani Mania in 2004, two years after the men's Armani Mania, with Dominique Ropion as perfumer. An earlier women's Mania from 1999, by Jacques Cavallier, was an amber and spice scent and is a different perfume. The 2004 fragrance no longer appears in Armani's range. We make the men's Armani Mania as a separate product.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Giorgio Armani stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Offices, daytime and casual wear suit its restraint. Its character is creamy and close to the skin rather than bold. Fans of statement perfumes may find it too discreet, while lovers of musky woods will find it easy to reach for.

Is this the women's or the men's Armani Mania?

The women's version from 2004. Men's Armani Mania (2002) smells different and has its own page in our range.

Is it the 1999 Mania or the 2004 Armani Mania?

It follows the 2004 women's Armani Mania by Dominique Ropion. The 1999 Mania was a different, spicier amber scent.

Is Armani Mania for women discontinued?

It no longer appears in Armani's range and is reported as discontinued. Remaining bottles still turn up at some retailers.

Is Giorgio Armani Mania coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Giorgio Armani that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.

Inside the EU, delivery is free on orders of €49 or more. Below that it is a flat €4.99. Outside the EU, delivery is a flat €4.99 on every order. We send every order in 1 to 2 working days.
