Sheer, inspired by Tiffany & Co. Tiffany Sheer (2019)

Sheer opens tart and green: blackcurrant gives a sour-berry snap, and mandarin leaf (vert de mandarine) smells of crushed citrus foliage more than of the fruit. Ylang-ylang and rose oil form a floral middle that is luminous rather than heavy. Iris, the house's base note, finishes it with a cool, powdery, rooty tone.

About the original

Coty launched Tiffany Sheer in February 2019 as the third Tiffany & Co. fragrance, first in the US, Asia and European travel retail. Daniela Andrier of Givaudan composed it as a lighter eau de toilette take on Tiffany Eau de Parfum (2017). The faceted bottle draws on Tiffany diamond cuts and comes in the blue box. Sheer is no longer listed in Tiffany's UK fragrance range, and its German and US product pages show it as unavailable, although some retailers still have stock.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Tiffany & Co. stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Its lightness is the main draw: it keeps the house's iris but swaps density for fruit and green citrus leaf. Tiffany itself calls it 'playful yet elegant'. Its restraint may disappoint buyers looking for a rich or sweet floral.

Is Tiffany Sheer discontinued?

Tiffany no longer lists it in its UK range, and its German and US pages show it as unavailable. Some retailers still have stock, and we have not seen an official statement from the brand.

How is Sheer different from Tiffany Eau de Parfum?

Sheer is a lighter eau de toilette version of the 2017 Tiffany Eau de Parfum. It keeps the iris base but leans on blackcurrant and mandarin leaf for a fresher, fruitier feel.

Is Tiffany & Co. Sheer coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Tiffany & Co. that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.
