Pour Femme, inspired by Zara Femme

Zara has released several fragrances under the Femme name, and they do not all smell the same. The most widely described versions, the 2018 Eau de Parfum and the 2019 Eau de Toilette, begin with a quick flash of peony and bergamot. They then settle into sandalwood, tonka bean and a powdery vanilla with musk. The effect is cosy and uncomplicated rather than layered.

About the original

Zara has used the Femme name since around 2013, for an original Femme and later for Eau de Toilette, Eau de Parfum, seasonal and Intense versions, plus Femme Pink Flambé. These versions have different formulas, and published note lists differ between them. The name alone does not identify which Femme is meant, so the description here sticks to the vanilla, musk and sandalwood character of the best-documented editions.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Zara stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Comfort is the main appeal: vanilla and musk with a little wood, nothing sharp or challenging. Fans of skin-like vanilla scents will feel at home. A buyer chasing one specific Femme bottle should be aware that Zara's versions differ.
