The Story Behind the Scent

Guerlain built L'Homme Ideal around almond, all bright citrus and aromatic rosemary over marzipan-like almond and warm tonka. The idea was a refined, distinctive masculinity.

That warm smoothness is its appeal. The orange and rosemary keep it bright, the almond and tonka add a sweet, nutty heart, and the leather and vetiver give it a smooth, woody base. Our interpretation follows that same refined path.
