Bake, inspired by Akro Bake (2023)

Bake smells like a lemon cupcake fresh from the oven. Lemon peel gives a zesty, slightly bitter start, then chantilly cream and praline bring a fluffy, nutty sweetness. The base is brown sugar and vanilla, rich and caramel-like.

About the original

Akro launched Bake in 2023, and Olivier Cresp composed it. The idea came from the lemon cupcakes sold at Crumbs & Doilies on Carnaby Street in London. Like Awake, it takes a specific London food memory as its starting point, here a bakery treat rather than a cup of coffee.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Akro stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Gourmand lovers will enjoy the bakery theme. It is clearly sweet throughout. Sugar sceptics will not be converted by this one.
