Mula Mula Double Caramel, inspired by Byron Parfums Mula Mula Double Caramel (2023)

Caramel appears twice in the pyramid, at the top and again in the heart, and that doubling is the whole idea. Peach and ginger open it with a fruity, gently spiced lift. Strawberry, raspberry and bourbon vanilla then join the caramel for a dessert-like middle. Underneath, Laotian oud, patchouli and amber add weight and a faint woody darkness.

About the original

Byron Parfums released Double Caramel as a limited series of Mula Mula in its Narcotique line, with one retailer dating it to 2023. It came in a 75 ml bottle, and the Paris house's own page describes it as its new limited series. That page now shows it as out of stock, and several retailers that carried it have sold out too. The original Mula Mula is still sold by Byron Parfums.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Byron Parfums stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Dessert scents are its territory, with caramel, vanilla and berries outweighing everything else. Someone who already likes Mula Mula and wants it richer is the obvious buyer. The sweetness is heavy by design, so it is unlikely to convert anyone who dislikes gourmands.

It pushes the caramel further, placing it in both the top and the heart, with bourbon vanilla in the heart. The original puts ginger, pink pepper and labdanum in the middle instead.
