Jasmine and tiare flower are the centre of gravity here, a rich white floral pairing given lift by a little clementine zest. Before that, rose and honeysuckle make a gentle, nectar-like introduction. Peony rounds out the heart. Sandalwood, musk and patchouli form a smooth base that settles the flowers without weighing them down.

About the original

Burberry launched London for women in 2006, at the same time as a men's fragrance of the same name. The Eau de Parfum comes in a bottle partly dressed in the house's check fabric. It is a different scent from Her London Dream, a separate Burberry fragrance. Burberry's UK site still sells the women's London Eau de Parfum.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Burberry stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Its character is polished and unflashy, a classic floral rather than a statement. The white flowers are full but not heavy, and there is no gourmand sweetness. It may feel conventional to a wearer chasing something edgy.

No. Her London Dream is a separate Burberry fragrance; this page is the original women's London.
