Twilly D'Hermes, inspired by Hermès Twilly d'Hermès (2017)

Ginger is the hook, candied rather than raw, so it tingles and sweetens at once. Tuberose comes in underneath, its heady white-flower richness kept playful by the spice above it. Sandalwood forms the base, milky and rounded, smoothing the floral as the scent dries down. Spice and flower stay in conversation the whole way, which gives it more energy than a classic tuberose.

About the original

Christine Nagel, Hermès' in-house perfumer, created Twilly d'Hermès in 2017. Its name comes from the house's narrow silk scarves, known as twillies, and Hermès presents it as a scent for young women with a free, bold spirit. Later flankers include Eau Poivrée, Eau Ginger and Tutti Twilly; Eau Ginger is also in our range.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Hermès stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Younger in mood but not sugary, it works for wearers who find classic tuberose too formal. The ginger is pronounced at the start and the tuberose is rich, so a quiet skin scent this is not.
