Spice hits first: black pepper and cinnamon bark, sharpened by bergamot and elemi, a resin with a lemony, peppery smell. Rose comes through in the heart alongside a frankincense accord, so the floral reads smoky and slightly churchy. The base is where it turns plush, with vanilla bean and an amber accord. Powdery musks soften the finish and stop the spice from feeling harsh.

About the original

Cosmic Power is the empowerment scent in Charlotte Tilbury's Collection of Emotions, six eau de parfums developed with IFF and launched in spring 2024. The brand names Dominique Ropion as its perfumer and classes it as ambery spicy. It first went on special order through the Charlotte Tilbury app on 30 April 2024, with worldwide online sales from 2 May. Charlotte Tilbury is better known for make-up, and this is a fragrance, not a cosmetic product.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Charlotte Tilbury stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Warmth and spice define it, so it pleases people who like cinnamon, incense and vanilla together. It is a full, ambery scent with little freshness. Wearers sensitive to cinnamon or incense may find the opening heavy.
