Ma Vie, inspired by Hugo Boss BOSS Ma Vie Pour Femme (2014)

Cactus flower is an uncommon opening note: watery, green and lightly floral, it feels crisp without being citrusy. Pink freesia follows with a peppery, airy lift, and rose and jasmine give the heart its body without heaviness. Cedar and woody notes form a dry, quiet base. Clean is the word that fits it best.

About the original

Hugo Boss launched BOSS Ma Vie Pour Femme in the summer of 2014. Flankers such as Ma Vie L'Eau share the name but are separate fragrances. The original Eau de Parfum still appears on the Hugo Boss site and at Boots in the UK.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Hugo Boss stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Office days and errands are where it makes most sense, as it stays neat and inoffensive. It is light and green-leaning, with almost no sweetness. Lovers of rich orientals or gourmands may find it too modest.
