Acqua Di Gioia Jasmine, inspired by Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gioia Jasmine (2015)

Green apple, violet leaf and lemon make the opening crisp, with galbanum, a plant resin with a bitter, leafy edge, holding it down. Jasmine then arrives in two forms: water jasmine, airy and dewy, and jasmine absolute, which brings the flower's fuller body. Brown sugar takes the edge off in the base, while musk and cedar keep it clean. The whole composition stays light and green.

About the original

Armani released Acqua di Gioia Jasmine in June 2015 as a summer limited edition of Acqua di Gioia, the women's line launched in 2010. It kept the line's campaign face, Emily DiDonato, and focused the fresh Acqua di Gioia style on jasmine. As a seasonal edition it is no longer produced, while the main Acqua di Gioia remains in Armani's range.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Giorgio Armani stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Hot weather is where it makes most sense, in keeping with its release as a summer edition. Airy and green, it may feel too slight for jasmine fans used to rich, indolic white florals.

Yes. Armani released it for summer 2015 as a limited edition, and it is no longer produced.

How does it differ from the main Acqua di Gioia?

It is a jasmine-focused edition of the line, opening on green apple and violet leaf. We also make the original Acqua di Gioia from 2010.

Is Giorgio Armani Acqua Di Gioia Jasmine coming back?

It was a limited edition. So far, we have found no announcement from Giorgio Armani about a re-release. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.
