The brief was a fragrance for the free-spirited modern woman, and Bisch delivered with a modern chypre built around mirabelle plum, freesia, and oakmoss. The composition reads earthy and confident where the original Chloé reads soft and romantic, with the oakmoss base giving it an unmistakably modern chypre signature that defied the floral fruity defaults of mainstream feminine perfumery. How It Smells

The opening is fruity and bright, mirabelle plum leading with its slightly tart yellow stone fruit character, lifted by bergamot and lemon.
