Issey Miyake released A Scent in 2009, a crisp green floral designed to feel as clear and clean as glass. Our interpretation carries that fresh, transparent character in a long lasting Eau de Parfum, made in the EU. This fragrance has since been discontinued, which is part of why our interpretation exists, to keep the scent within reach.

The Story Behind the Scent

A Scent was built around the idea of purity and light, a green floral with nothing heavy about it. Lemon, verbena and galbanum open it green and zesty, jasmine and hyacinth give a clean floral heart, and a soft base of cedar and musk grounds it gently. It smells fresh cut and airy, calm and modern.

How Our Version Compares to the Original

We do not claim this is identical, because no interpretation is. What we have built follows the same green floral signature of the original, rebuilt at up to 40% perfume oil so it projects clearly early on and lingers longer than a typical spray. A little goes a long way.
