Atlas Garden, inspired by Yves Saint Laurent Atlas Garden (2019)

Bergamot, mandarin and neroli give the first minutes a bright, peel-like freshness. Orange blossom absolute then takes over, fuller and more honeyed than neroli, and a date accord adds a dried-fruit sweetness. The finish rests on tonka bean, ambrox and what YSL calls a solar accord, so it ends sunny and ambery rather than crisp.

About the original

Atlas Garden joined YSL's Le Vestiaire des Parfums Oriental Collection in 2019. Amandine Clerc-Marie composed it as a tribute to the Jardin Majorelle in Marrakech, the garden Yves Saint Laurent bought and restored in the 1980s. Its doubled orange-flower theme, neroli on top and orange blossom absolute in the heart, is central to the composition. YSL's European and US sites no longer list it, and buyers reported it sold out for months in 2024.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Yves Saint Laurent stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Between a fresh neroli cologne and a heavy amber, this sits nearer the amber side. The date and tonka sweetness is gentle but present, and YSL marketed it to men and women alike.

YSL marketed it to all genders; we list it among our women's scents.

Is Yves Saint Laurent Atlas Garden coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Yves Saint Laurent that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.
