Flerisimo, inspired by Creed Fleurissimo (1956)

Mandarin and bergamot give a short citrus start, with violet leaves adding a cool, green crispness. Then comes a dense white-flower bouquet: tuberose leads, rich and slightly milky, with ylang-ylang and neroli around it and rose rounding the edges. Orris, the dried root of the iris, brings a powdery dryness to the base, settled over sandalwood and cedar. Creed itself likens it to a wedding bouquet, and the comparison fits the fullness of the flowers.

About the original

Fleurissimo is usually dated to 1956 and still sells it as an Eau de Parfum in its women's range. The house classes it as a rich white-flower bouquet, and both Creed and the press associate it closely with weddings. No perfumer is named in the sources we checked.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Creed stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Brides and wedding guests are the obvious audience, given how strongly the scent is tied to weddings. Tuberose is heady and rich here, so a buyer who finds white flowers cloying should approach it with care.
