Supreme Bouquet

Supreme Bouquet, inspired by Yves Saint Laurent Supreme Bouquet (2013)

Tuberose sets the tone from the start, creamy and heady, with ylang-ylang adding a buttery richness and jasmine a deeper floral note. Pear and pink pepper brighten the first minutes so the flowers do not feel dense straight away. As it settles, the bouquet sinks into amber, patchouli and woods, which give it a glowing, resinous floor. Overall it reads as lavish and noticeably sweet.

About the original

Dominique Ropion created Supreme Bouquet in 2013 for YSL's exclusive Oriental Collection. In 2017 it moved, repackaged, into Le Vestiaire des Parfums, a line tied to Yves Saint Laurent's couture pieces and to Morocco. YSL now sells it as Gold: the US site calls it Gold Supreme Bouquet, the notes are the same, and the UK site credits the same perfumer. It is marketed to all genders, although it is often described as leaning feminine.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Yves Saint Laurent stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Richness is the point here: this is a full, enveloping white floral, not a fresh one. Heady, creamy tuberose is the main thing to be sure about before choosing it.

The opening pairs pear and bergamot with a dusting of pink pepper, bright and fruity over the flowers already gathering below.

Tuberose, ylang-ylang and jasmine sambac form the heart, creamy and dense, with the tuberose clearly in charge.

The base is ambery and woody, with patchouli and musks giving it a smooth, glowing finish.

Is YSL Supreme Bouquet discontinued?

No. YSL now sells it as Gold in Le Vestiaire des Parfums, with the same notes; its US site lists it as Gold Supreme Bouquet.

Is Supreme Bouquet for women or unisex?

YSL markets it as unisex. Its tuberose-led character means many people perceive it as feminine.

Is this the same as YSL Magnificent Gold?

No. Magnificent Gold is a separate scent from the same Oriental Collection, which we also make.
