The Story Behind the Scent
When Calvin Klein released Beauty, the idea was to strip a fragrance back to one idea and do it beautifully. Rather than build a crowded bouquet, the perfumers chose jasmine absolute and let it carry the whole scent. The result was quiet, confident, and modern.
That kind of simplicity is harder to pull off than it sounds. A soliflore has nowhere to hide, so every element has to be right. Our interpretation honours that restraint, using a rich jasmine heart softened by ambrette seed and grounded in clean cedarwood, so the flower feels natural rather than synthetic.
