Miracle, inspired by Lancôme Miracle (2000)

Miracle starts fresh and fruity, with lychee giving a watery sweetness and freesia a clean floral edge. Within minutes the spice arrives: ginger and pepper, used lightly, so they tingle rather than burn. Magnolia, peony and rose fill the centre as the fruit fades, and the heart stays airy. Jasmine, musk and amber settle underneath as a smooth, skin-like base.

About the original

Lancôme launched Miracle in 2000 as an eau de parfum composed by Alberto Morillas and Harry Fremont. Perfume databases class it as a floral with fresh-spicy and fruity accords, pairing lychee with ginger and pepper. Lancôme still sells it, and its current official note list adds pink pepper, peony and patchouli to the lychee, freesia and magnolia of older descriptions.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Lancôme stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Its weight sits in the middle: richer than a citrus cologne, far lighter than an amber evening scent. The spice is gentle but noticeable, so a buyer expecting a purely sweet fruity floral may be surprised by the ginger and pepper.
