Brit Rhythm For Her Floral, inspired by Burberry Brit Rhythm for Her Floral (2015)

Citrus comes first, lemon and orange with an almost fizzy freshness. The flowers that follow are transparent: jasmine, lilac with its spring-blossom powder, and lotus, which adds a watery, slightly green note. Ozonic and aquatic accords give the whole thing an open-air feel. A thin layer of woods, amber and musk keeps it grounded without adding weight.

About the original

Burberry introduced Brit Rhythm for Her Floral in February 2015, alongside Brit Rhythm for Him Intense. It is a flanker of Brit Rhythm for Her (2014), a lavender and iris scent, and moves towards citrus and fresh flowers instead. Burberry's women's range online now shows only Her and Goddess, and the Floral edition is not among them. No official statement about its withdrawal has been found.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Burberry stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Its register is casual and uncomplicated, more fresh air than perfume counter. Fans of aquatic or ozonic notes will settle into it quickly, while anyone wanting richness or sweetness may find it thin.

It no longer appears in Burberry's women's range, and it is reported as discontinued, though Burberry has not made an official statement.

How does it differ from the original Brit Rhythm for Her?

The 2014 original is built on lavender and iris. The Floral flanker swaps that for citrus, jasmine, lilac and lotus, and feels fresher and more aquatic.

Is it sweet?

Not really. The accords are floral, citrus and ozonic, with only a light amber and musk base.

Is Burberry Brit Rhythm For Her Floral coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Burberry that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.
