Inside Delight, inspired by Trussardi Inside Delight (2008)

Quince sets the mood, a fruit that smells somewhere between pear and apple with a perfumed, slightly waxy skin. Lemon sharpens it and magnolia adds a clean, lemony floral note of its own. In the middle, coffee blossom, which smells of white flowers rather than roasted beans, sits with freesia and honeysuckle. Teak wood and sandalwood keep the base dry and quiet under a veil of musk.

About the original

Trussardi released Inside Delight in 2008 as an eau de toilette flanker of Inside, its women's fragrance from 2006. The composition is usually credited to Nathalie Lorson. Launch coverage presented it as a fresher, more modern take on the coffee and teak character of the original. Neither Inside nor Inside Delight is listed in Trussardi's current fragrance shop.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Trussardi stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Light and fruity, it was presented as the fresher sibling of Inside. The coffee element is a blossom, not a gourmand note, so nothing here smells of a café. Next to rich, heavy florals it can seem slight.

Quince and lemon make the opening fresh and fruity, with magnolia already showing through.

Coffee blossom, freesia and honeysuckle give the heart a sweet, nectar-like softness.

Teak and sandalwood settle with musk into a clean, low-key woody finish.

Is Trussardi Inside Delight discontinued?

It no longer appears in Trussardi's range, and remaining bottles turn up mainly as vintage listings. We have not found a formal announcement from the brand.

How is Inside Delight different from Trussardi Inside?

Delight is the 2008 flanker, built around quince, lemon and magnolia. It was presented as a fresher, lighter reading of the 2006 original's coffee and teak theme.

Is Trussardi Inside Delight coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Trussardi that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.

Inside the EU, delivery is free on orders of €49 or more. Below that it is a flat €4.99. Outside the EU, delivery is a flat €4.99 on every order. We send every order in 1 to 2 working days. It arrives in 3 to 7 days across the EU and in 7 to 14 days outside the EU. You have 14 days to return an unopened bottle.
