Inside, inspired by Trussardi Inside for Woman (2006)

Rose-bay and bergamot give a fresh, faintly green start, with nut leaf adding a dry, slightly bitter leafiness. Coffee soon comes through, and it is the note that defines the scent: roasted and smooth, set against freesia and the almond-like powder of heliotrope. Teak wood gives the base a dry, polished woodiness, and white musk with amber keeps the finish rounded.

About the original

Trussardi launched Inside in 2006 as a pair: Inside for Woman, an eau de parfum, and Inside for Man, which shares the same coffee and teak accord. The women's version is usually credited to Daphné Bugey of Firmenich. A flanker, Inside Delight, followed in 2008. Inside for Woman is no longer in Trussardi's current range, although we have found no statement from the brand about it.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Trussardi stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Coffee in a floral is the main talking point, so this will please a wearer drawn to roasted, gourmand-adjacent notes who does not want sugar. Heliotrope adds a powdery quality that may feel old-fashioned to some.

Is this the women's or the men's Inside?

The women's Inside from 2006. Inside for Man shares the coffee and teak accord but is a separate fragrance.

How is it different from Inside Delight?

Inside Delight is a 2008 flanker of the women's Inside. This page is the original 2006 Inside, built on coffee, teak and heliotrope, and Inside Delight has its own page.

Is Trussardi Inside coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Trussardi that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.

Inside the EU, delivery is free on orders of €49 or more. Below that it is a flat €4.99. Outside the EU, delivery is a flat €4.99 on every order. We send every order in 1 to 2 working days. It arrives in 3 to 7 days across the EU and in 7 to 14 days outside the EU. You have 14 days to return an unopened bottle.
