J'Adore In Joy, inspired by Dior J'adore In Joy (2017)

Salt is the twist: fleur de sel gives the flowers a mineral, sun-on-skin feel, as if worn after a swim. Peach adds a soft fruitiness, and neroli contributes a green orange-blossom freshness. Beneath that, tuberose, jasmine and ylang-ylang carry the familiar J'adore floral character in a lighter weight.

About the original

Dior launched J'adore In Joy in March 2017 as an eau de toilette flanker to J'adore (1999), alongside a matching hair mist. Dior described it as a salty fruity floral. The perfumer has not been confirmed in the sources we checked. In Joy is not among the J'adore versions Dior currently offers, which include the eau de parfum, eau de toilette, Intense and L'Or.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Dior stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Its salty, sunny character is the main draw. It is lighter than the main J'adore. The salt note can read slightly savoury to some noses, and tuberose fans may find it understated.

Yes. Fleur de sel gives a mineral, skin-like saltiness that sits alongside the flowers.

Is Dior J'Adore In Joy coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Dior that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.

Inside the EU, delivery is free on orders of €49 or more. Below that it is a flat €4.99. Outside the EU, delivery is a flat €4.99 on every order. We send every order in 1 to 2 working days.
