Sunkissed takes the Velvet Petals floral idea and warms it up. Jasmine and a cluster of sunny florals sit at the centre, carried on golden amber. Below that, musk, sandalwood and vanilla give a smooth, slightly sweet base that feels like warm skin. Published note lists disagree, so this description follows one of them.

About the original

Velvet Petals Sunkissed was one of Victoria's Secret's Sunkissed body mists, summer variants of core mist scents such as Love Spell, Pure Seduction and Bare Vanilla. Its launch year has not been confirmed. One retailer has described it as a limited summer edition, but no brand or press source backs that up. It is not the same as the core Velvet Petals mist or Velvet Petals Vacation (2026), both of which are still sold.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Victoria's Secret stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Spring and summer days are where it belongs, as a light floral rather than a full perfume. The vanilla and amber make it gently sweet, which may not suit anyone after a crisp, green floral.

A body mist, sold in a 250 ml bottle as part of the Sunkissed series. Our version is an eau de parfum.

Is this the same as Velvet Petals or Velvet Petals Vacation?

No. Sunkissed was a separate summer variant. The core Velvet Petals mist and Velvet Petals Vacation (2026) are different scents that Victoria's Secret still sells.

Is Velvet Petals Sunkissed discontinued?

It no longer appears in Victoria's Secret's range, though the brand has not confirmed a discontinuation.
