The Story Behind the Scent

Amouage built Interlude Man around the tension of chaos, all smoky incense and warm resins over a leathery base. The idea was a bold, complex intensity.

That smoky boldness is why it became a cult favorite. The bergamot and pimento give it a spicy lift, the frankincense and opoponax add a warm, resinous heart, and the leather and agarwood give it a smoky depth. Our interpretation follows that same complex path.
