Light Blue

Light Blue, inspired by Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue pour Homme (2007)

Light Blue pour Homme is built on citrus: grapefruit, bergamot and Sicilian mandarin, with juniper adding a gin-like, resinous edge. Rosemary and pepper follow and give it an herbal, lightly spiced body. Underneath sits a sheer musky wood with traces of incense and oakmoss rather than anything heavy. From start to finish it feels relaxed and clean.

About the original

Dolce & Gabbana released Light Blue pour Homme in 2007 as the men's counterpart to the women's Light Blue. Its first campaign, shot in Capri, starred David Gandy and Marija Vujović, and in 2008 it won Best Men's Fragrance and Best New Fragrance Commercial at the FiFi Awards. From 2012 the brand added a string of limited summer editions. In 2025 the eau de toilette was reportedly relaunched in a redesigned frosted bottle with a blue enamelled cap; we have not been able to confirm how much, if at all, the formula changed, and this page follows the 2007 composition.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Dolce & Gabbana stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Summer is its season, whether on holiday or in a hot city. It stays light and transparent throughout, so it may feel too airy for a man who wants depth, spice or sweetness.

It is inspired by the men's Light Blue pour Homme from 2007. The women's Light Blue is a separate fragrance, and we make that too.

No. It is inspired by the original 2007 eau de toilette. Eau Intense pour Homme is a separate flanker with its own page.
