Light Blue Italian Love Pour Homme, inspired by Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Pour Homme Italian Love (2022)

The grapefruit here is cold and realistic, like cutting into the fruit, with bergamot behind it. Violet leaf, a green note that smells of crushed leaves with a cucumber-like coolness, leads into an ozonic marine accord. The base is smoother: vetiver, patchouli and guaiac wood, with musk keeping it clean.

About the original

Dolce&Gabbana released Light Blue Italian Love in March 2022 as a pair of limited-edition summer flankers, one for men and one for women. This page is the men's version, an eau de toilette in a deeper blue bottle than the standard Light Blue Pour Homme. The perfumer is usually given as Shyamala Maisondieu, though that credit comes from a fragrance database only. It is not the same scent as Light Blue Capri in Love Pour Homme, the brand's current summer edition, and the 2022 release no longer appears in Dolce&Gabbana's men's range.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Dolce & Gabbana stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Hot weather is what it was made for, and it feels light and airy. The grapefruit is the main draw. A few wearers pick up a faintly sweaty nuance, which may put off buyers sensitive to that kind of note.

It was a limited summer edition in 2022 and is no longer produced. It does not appear in Dolce&Gabbana's current men's range.

The men's, Light Blue Pour Homme Italian Love. The women's Light Blue Italian Love is a different scent, which we also make.

Is it the same as Light Blue Capri in Love?

No. Capri in Love Pour Homme is a separate seasonal edition, the one Dolce&Gabbana currently sells.

It was a limited edition. So far, we have found no announcement from Dolce & Gabbana about a re-release. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.
