Narciso Pour Homme, inspired by Narciso Rodriguez for Him (2007)

Musk is the core of this one: at launch the brand built it around Egyptian musk oil, the material Narciso Rodriguez treats as a personal hallmark. Violet and violet leaf give the top a cool, powdery and slightly green tone. In the heart, incense adds a faint smoky dryness next to lavender. Patchouli, vetiver and amber hold it together underneath, so the overall effect is quiet and polished.

About the original

Narciso Rodriguez for Him launched in 2007 as the men's counterpart to Narciso Rodriguez for Her, with Francis Kurkdjian as perfumer. It came out as a fragrance oil and an eau de toilette, alongside aftershave and body products. Later men's flankers include For Him Bleu Noir, Vetiver Musc and Musc Santal. No Narciso Rodriguez fragrance is actually called Narciso pour Homme, and Narciso (2014) is a women's line, so this page follows the original for Him. We have not been able to confirm whether the brand still produces the 2007 eau de toilette.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Narciso Rodriguez stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Powder decides it. The violet and musk give it a cosmetic, skin-like quality that some men love and others read as too clean or too muted; fresh citrus or obvious spice is not part of the picture.

No. Narciso (2014) is a women's line, which we sell separately. This page follows the men's for Him.
