About the original

Narciso Rodriguez launched For Him Bleu Noir in 2015 as an Eau de Toilette, the first of a line that later added an Eau de Parfum (2018), an Eau de Toilette Extrême (2020) and a Parfum (2022). These versions are not interchangeable: the 2018 Eau de Parfum, for instance, is a darker, spicier composition with more vetiver. This page is based on the original Eau de Toilette, which the brand describes as elegant and mysterious, with musk at its core.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Narciso Rodriguez stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Men who like clean, dry fragrances rather than sweet ones are its natural audience. Musk carries most of the scent, and the spice stays in the background. That musky focus may feel too understated to buyers who want more contrast.

It is based on the original For Him Bleu Noir Eau de Toilette from 2015. The 2018 Eau de Parfum is a darker, spicier composition. Our product itself is an eau de parfum.

Is Narciso Rodriguez Bleu Noir still made?

We have not been able to confirm whether the brand still produces the Eau de Toilette. Some retailers still list it.

Is it sweet?

Not especially. Spice, musk and woods lead, with a slightly powdery edge.
