One Million

One Million, inspired by Rabanne 1 Million (2008)

1 Million begins brightly, with blood mandarin and grapefruit cooled by mint. That fresh phase is brief. Cinnamon comes forward next, alongside rose and a dusting of other spices, and the scent grows sweeter and rounder. What remains on skin is amber with a leathery, slightly smoky edge, grounded by Indian patchouli.

About the original

Christophe Raynaud, Olivier Pescheux and Michel Girard composed 1 Million for Paco Rabanne in 2008. The gold ingot bottle was designed by Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance. The house shortened its name to Rabanne in 2023, and the original eau de toilette now sits alongside flankers such as Elixir and Royal. Lady Million, from 2010, is the women's counterpart.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Rabanne (formerly Paco Rabanne) stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Rabanne itself recommends it for evenings and the autumn-winter months, and the cinnamon and amber support that. Although the brand files it under fresh and spicy woody, on skin the sweet spice outweighs the citrus, so a buyer after something light and summery should choose differently.

Cinnamon then takes the lead with rose behind it, turning the scent sweet and spicy.

This is the men's 1 Million from 2008. Lady Million is a separate women's fragrance, which we also make.

Which version of 1 Million is this based on?

The original eau de toilette, not the Parfum, Elixir, Royal, Lucky or Privé editions. Several of those flankers have their own pages in our range.

Is it sweet?

Yes. Cinnamon and amber give it a sweet, spicy character once the citrus opening fades.
